Pre-Marital Counseling
Fusing two individual lives together into one is a beautiful experience and requires intentional focus in preparing the hearts and minds of each individual before the big day arrives. In Pre-Marital counseling, couples learn how to maintain separate identities while allowing space for each other’s reality as one. Communication exercises, focus on hot topic marital concerns, as well as personal challenges that need attention before the wedding day are highlighted in Pre-Marital counseling.
Marital Counseling
Marital counseling serves a wide range of couples ranging from those needing a marriage tune-up to those couples on the brink of divorce. Grounded in the Emotionally Focused Therapy approach, couples engaging in marital counseling will learn the key skills to helping each other feel understood, which is an essential component in a healthy marriage. Careful attention is given to pain points, such as infidelity and betrayal. In addition, creating a safe environment to share is always at the forefront of each session.
Women’s Counseling
Daybreak Counseling offers women a shelter from storms that can interfere with inner peace. Women are given a safe space to explore pain points revolving around relationships, inner conflict and/or trauma, depression, anxiety, work/familly conflict, childhood wounds, and/or spiritual wounds.
Adolescent/Family Counseling
Teenagers are sometimes bombarded with difficult life transitions, adjustments, and/or pressures that can occur in daily living. In adolescent counseling, individuals are given a safe space to address concerns ranging from anxiety, depression, and bullying to self-harm thoughts/behaviors. When appropriate, families are given a safe space to learn how to communicate and feel understood by one another. The goal of family counseling is to heal and strengthen the emotional bond between family members.

Testimonials
Rachel has been such a blessing to us. Not only for our marriage but we consider her family after all of these years. The Lord gave her an incredible gift of understanding, compassion, empathy, knowledge, and love for him and us. Thanks to her, and God, we understand each other better and are learning, loving, and growing daily in our perfectly imperfect marriage.
Rachel played a vital role in helping my marriage. Her heart for couples and people to receive true healing and hope was evident. She was able to give me the language and tools I needed to be a better wife and display fruits of the spirit during a difficult season. I came to counseling for the first time with fears and worries of judgement but instantly I felt safe and open to share.
My wife and I started counseling with Rachel. I wasn’t really hopeful of anything coming out of it, but her approach to us was so genuine and lacking any form of judgment that I soon realized I was the one with most of the problems. The tools she gave us helped make our relationship stronger than it ever was. We are so grateful.
